I don’t know if you saw GW’s hissy fit on TV this week. His so-called ‘reasonable’ steps to settle the US Attorney firings. Honestly I expected him to blurt out “I am NOT a crook’ at any minute. He stammered and did his best Mussolini impersonation for all the world to see. He tried his best to play everything that is going on off as a ‘political show’ but to me he failed so miserably he came off as the desperate, sweating, beady eyed, twitchy president we all love to hate, Richard Milhouse Nixon.

What I find amazing is the audacity of what he expects us to believe. He said he will allow top level White House staff to be ‘interviewed’ by Congress in a private setting, not under oath. Now to me that screams “I’ll let my people talk to you but I want them to be able to lie through their teeth and get away with it!” Seriously now George, how GOD DAMNED stupid do you think we are? Granted half the US population is more interested in some blond bimbo’s DNA testing but for God’s sake do you think we are all a bunch of gap toothed inbred hillbillies that don’t care about the fact that YOU and your establishment are flushing OUR country down the toilet?

Now I have heard the arguments from many people about “you can’t lie to Congress, even in private” Well no DUH Einstein BUT you have no way to prove they lied to Congress in a private meeting because there are no records of that meeting! So I could literally walk into a private Congressional meeting and say “The sky is red”, only to be able to deny it 100% 10 seconds later in public and there is NO record of it to prove I lied. It’s the old “my story against yours” bullshit that has gotten more than one thieving crook off the hook before.

So let me ask you this George, what the HELL are you so afraid of? What are you hiding? You said something to the effect of “If my staff has to worry about getting hauled in front of Congress they will not give me candid advice”. Give me a fucking break! I think what you meant to say was “If my staff has to worry about getting hauled in front of Congress they won’t be able to sit with me to create these fascist plans, underhanded moves and outright lies we have been using since 2000″.

Then GW and his piece of crap minister of propaganda, Tony Snow pulled the ace out of their sleeve. The old “constitutional options” card. Basically insinuating George will use the old “executive privileges” play. Well you know what George, pull that card out for real when the subpoenas come out and you have proven to the whole world that your whole staff is a lying, underhanded cesspool that can not be trusted to feed the dog on time. Just like Nixon when he tried to stop those famous tapes from being played you will have set your fate forever. So I personally dare you, I double dare you!

To quote a great 20th century character …… “Do you feel lucky PUNK … Well do you?”
