Just My Rant

Oh I have had just about enough of this CRAP as I can STAND! This “Political Correctness” BULLSHIT has GOT to stop before the entire world has been run through the strainer and no one can stand to hear anything except homogenized, whitewashed drivel!. What the hell ever happened to people being able to speak their mind without “Society” trying to slap them down!

So what has my ire up today? Well this has actually been on my mind for some time but events of the last 24 hours have brought it to a boiling point. You see I was having a round of very sarcastic banter with a very good friend of mine on a forum I belong to. Now let me say first that everyone there knows me and knows I am very good friends with this person. We are constantly have “slam fests” between us and a few other members AND everyone knows I am about the MOST non prejudiced person on the planet. Also it should be know that this person uses a nickname from the little rascals (you know Darla, Spanky, Buckwheat, Stymiee and the rest), whom he and I are major fans of. So he slams me with a comment that in a round about way tells me to kiss his ass (remember all in jest) ….. now this is not his nickname (it’s one of the others I’ve mentioned) but I came back with “I don’t think so Buckwheat, not in your wildest dreams”. Not a problem in the world, until an hour or so later when I get a private message from one of the moderators saying they edited the word Buckwheat from my post and “How COULD you be so insensitive?”. Huh? What in the heck is this guy talking about? So I message him back and ask what the heck he is talking about. First of all this friend isn’t black (not that that really matters), and secondly it was one of our normal “slam your friend” runs. So what the hell is the problem?

The problem is this whole GOD DAMNED Political Correctness gone mad bullshit, and that’s exactly what it is. You can’t even kid around with a friend without one of the inquisitors strapping you to the rack! Even worse you can’t express your true feelings or anything that may really be bothering you without being afraid you will be ostracized by these witch hunters! Yes folks it’s the new Spanish Inquisition set to a modern beat. A way to further brainwash people, another way to gain control of the masses! The age of Orwellian control on society is in full swing, brought on by very subtle ideas planted in the heads of the general public, seeds that have grown into the mighty oaks of control.

So you may think I’ve really gone out on a limb here but I’m am telling you that in very subtle ways YOUR mind is being controlled by special interests, religions and the government. You see there is one sure fired way to make people do and say what you want them to, put the fear of being a sociological outcast into them! Human beings are SO dependent on being accepted by the crowd they will do almost anything to gain that acceptance, including holding their real opinions and thoughts inside to brew. You know it’s true too, how many people do you know that started smoking, drinking or doing drugs just to be with the “in” crowd. How quickly will people empty their closet of clothes because they aren’t “in style anymore”? How many are sitting at the sushi bar, even though they really aren’t enjoying it because it’s chic? It’s all the same thing, the human beings desperate attempt at social acceptance. So when these special interest groups begin saying “Oh that’s intolerant of other’s feelings” and they KEEP saying it it begins to creep into what people think and they believe every god damn thing they are told just to hold on to their social status. Slowly and steadily this crap becomes a part of the social ladder climbing game and the next thing you know we have mindless sheep who are scared to death to have an opinion and even more so to express that opinion!

Now before we go further I have to say I am NOT talking about hate! There is no reason for that in any society. Hate will never be bullied down by any political movement, as a matter of fact I’d be willing to bet things like political correctness exacerbate hate. Think about it …. what happens when you are trying to suppress something that is really bothering you over a long period of time? It will fester into rage and hate and will usually explode into an episode that will cause 100 times more damage than if you had just addressed the problem at the moment it happened. Luckily though modern medicine has addressed this issue and now has half the planet on some kind of drug that makes them too freaking mellow to care any more, but that’s another rant altogether.

I don’t remember who the philosopher was but they said that major shifts in society’s behavior are usually polar opposites of each other. We go from one extreme to another. If they are correct we are in for some serious problems when the backlash begins. I actually believe it has already begun in some small ways. Comedians and any show claiming to be “politically incorrect” are sprouting up all over the place and doing very well. I hope this trend continues because plain and simple without the truth we might as well stick a gun in our mouth and pull the trigger. Unfortunately the backlash is also happening in some terrifying ways too. Over the past year the amount of hate crimes and “crimes of frustration”, as I call them, have increased dramatically. Employees with guns on a rampage, lonely kid with a gun, etc etc. I fear some of these crimes are being committed out of the shear frustration of not being accepted in the crowd because they are different or refuse to play the game. People whose opinions don’t fit into the “norm”, people who can’t, due to political correctness, speak their mind and hold in that frustration until it has to come out.

So here we sit in a society that is afraid to express their opinions, afraid to say what they really feel, afraid of the scorn of society. How dare you mention anything like that, whether it’s the truth or not? It’s really rather pathetic when you look at the cold hard facts of what most of society has become and how easily manipulated they have become. There are though, some of us who refuse to “fall in line” and we will not stop fighting this until people open their eyes and realize what asses they have become! I for one am one of those people so if you don’t want to hear the truth without the “political correct censoring” I highly suggest you move aside, climb back into your little comfy hole like a good little sheep cause I have no use for ANYONE who doesn’t have the guts and fortitude to tell me the truth, good old fashioned, 100%, non-homogenized truth. Tell me you freaking hate me, tell me you love me, tell me I’m the biggest ass you have every met …. JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU REALLY FEEL!

BTW, I’m dedicating this rant to the moderator who inspired it …. get a freaking clue will you!
