Just when you thought the ineptitude of appointed officials couldn’t be topped another one of GW’s appointees has now cost YOU, the American taxpayers 100 million dollars. That’s right folks 100 million bucks flushed right down the toilet!
Just to make matters worse the idiot that cost you and I this money is one of the newly appointed US Attorneys! You know them, these are the clowns Bush and Attorney General Gonzales put into office when they fired those US Attorneys for political reasons! The ones that had the AMAZING service records! In what has become the norm for GW and his staff they have ousted talented, dedicated and highly qualified personnel and replaced them with incompetent buffoons! In a ruling this past Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman the US Treasury now has no means, or rights to collect 100 million dollars from admitted tax evader Walter Anderson.

I’m sure by now you have heard the news about Elizabeth Edwards breast cancer reappearing, something that no one ever wants to hear. But what struck me (and it seems a lot of others) is the grace, courage and dignity these two people showed in their announcement and the honest to god love they have for each other and last but not least the strength they showed today. In a world of politicians that will say or do anything to dramatize a moment or grab a headline this couple showed a lot of people today the meaning of the word loyalty and integrity. If I was an Edwards supported before now I’m an Edwards FANATIC!

Up to this point I have been relatively ‘nice’ in what I have said here but I find myself at an impasse in life. I am torn between absolute truth and trying to be nice. To be honest nice just doesn’t cut it any more in this screwed up mess of a country we live in. So from this point on I am going back to who I really am, saying what I know to be the God’s honest truth whether you want to hear it or not. There is too much at stake in the US right now to sit back and play stupid, too much that can go wrong in the world by playing ‘nicey nice’ with leaders that treat the people that put THEM in office with kit gloves.
Our founding fathers knew damn well that no matter what the ramifications were the truth HAD to be told. No matter how many people had to die fighting for the truth nothing could ever ‘muddy’ reality, honesty, loyalty to one’s countryman and the pursuit of independence from the cruelty of domination by evil people that would enslave the ‘common man’ if they were left unchecked.
So from this day forward the entries in this blog will strive to expose the liars, the thieves, the ‘taskmasters’ that work to subdue the masses to their wishes. The language may be rough at times when it is appropriate but those that seek the truth will know the language is ‘called for’ at that moment. I can no longer sit back and allow liars, thieves and slave drivers the chance to destroy what our forefathers, our great grand fathers, our grand fathers and fathers fought and died to preserve. I will NOT allow the self appointed demi gods the chance to enslave a nation that was built on truth, honor and justice for ALL.
I ask you to stand up and be counted, to call, write, protest ANY injustice you see in this nation. I call on the spirit of the REAL American people to fight off the evil dictators that now hold our country hostage. Fight like your life, liberty and happiness depends on it because it does!
Politics are not something to watch, nay they are the basis of how your life will play out and how the lives of your children will play out. Look at the faces of those innocent children and tell them that you don’t care what their lives will be like … if you can. If you are too damn lazy to get off your asses and do something to make your own life better at least have the wherewithal to try and make the world a place that YOUR children will be able to live in!
May America withstand this brutal onslaught and once again become the great nation it once was!

I don’t know if you saw GW’s hissy fit on TV this week. His so-called ‘reasonable’ steps to settle the US Attorney firings. Honestly I expected him to blurt out “I am NOT a crook’ at any minute. He stammered and did his best Mussolini impersonation for all the world to see. He tried his best to play everything that is going on off as a ‘political show’ but to me he failed so miserably he came off as the desperate, sweating, beady eyed, twitchy president we all love to hate, Richard Milhouse Nixon.
What I find amazing is the audacity of what he expects us to believe. He said he will allow top level White House staff to be ‘interviewed’ by Congress in a private setting, not under oath. Now to me that screams “I’ll let my people talk to you but I want them to be able to lie through their teeth and get away with it!” Seriously now George, how GOD DAMNED stupid do you think we are? Granted half the US population is more interested in some blond bimbo’s DNA testing but for God’s sake do you think we are all a bunch of gap toothed inbred hillbillies that don’t care about the fact that YOU and your establishment are flushing OUR country down the toilet?

Spring is just around the corner, even though where I am there is 2 foot of fresh snow. People’s minds tend to wander about this time because they know the flowers will be blooming soon and warm wonderful days are just around the corner. I have to wonder though how many Americans minds will wander off and ignore the fact that this is the third time the Bush administration has allowed one of their cronies to take the wrap for their underhanded games. The third time their ineptitude will be dropped at the feet of one poor slob that will take the fall, when all along the intelligent people in the US know damn well who is at the heart of all this nonsense!
